The Mantle series is a celebration of our unique, life bearing planet. The pattern embossed on the Mantle glass is reminiscent of the Earth’s crust with rocklike peaks and troughs covering the entire surface. When the integrated LEDs are illuminated the relief print comes to life, highlighting the crests of the craggy surface and throwing the valleys into shadow. This piece brings a touch of theatre with simultaneous quiet intrigue.
